- 1 1/2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground Allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg

- 1/2 cup Assorted Nuts
Streusel Topping
- 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 2 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
- 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 cup Assorted Nuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Set your oven to 350°F (180°C) to prepare for baking the oatmeal.
- Mix wet ingredients and spices: In a medium bowl, whisk together 2% Reduced Fat Milk, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, salt, allspice, ground ginger, and nutmeg until fully combined and smooth.
- Prepare apples: Peel, core, and cut the Granny Smith apples into 1/2-inch chunks, then add them to the wet mixture bowl.
- Add oats and dry ingredients: Whisk in the large flake oats and baking powder, then fold in dried cranberries and assorted nuts. Stir gently to combine all ingredients evenly. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×9-inch or 7×11-inch baking dish.
- Prepare streusel topping: In a separate bowl, combine unsalted butter, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and assorted nuts. Use a fork, pastry cutter, or mini food processor to blend until the mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle this evenly over the oatmeal mixture in the baking dish.
- Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25 to 28 minutes, or until the oatmeal is set and the streusel topping turns golden brown.
- Cool and serve: Remove from the oven and allow the baked oatmeal to cool for 10 minutes. Serve warm, optionally with milk, cream, or yogurt for added creaminess.
