Ingredients
Scale
Slider Ingredients
- 24 King’s Hawaiian Rolls (2 12-pack packages)
- 1 lb sliced turkey breast
- 8 oz provolone cheese (12 slices)
Sauce Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375˚F (190˚C) to prepare for baking the sliders.
- Make the Sauce: In a bowl, combine the melted butter, Dijon mustard, sugar, and chopped parsley. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated to create a flavorful glaze.
- Prepare the Rolls: Slice the King’s Hawaiian rolls horizontally in half and place the bottom halves snugly in a 9×13 inch baking pan, ensuring they fit tightly together.
- Layer Turkey and Cheese: Evenly distribute the sliced turkey breast over the bottom rolls, then layer the provolone cheese slices on top of the turkey. Place the top halves of the rolls back over the layered fillings. Use a knife to cut between each slider to define individual portions.
- Apply the Sauce: Generously brush the butter-Dijon-parsley sauce over the top of the assembled sliders, making sure to coat evenly and allowing any extra sauce to seep down between the rolls for added flavor.
- Bake the Sliders: Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese has fully melted, creating a warm, gooey filling. Remove from the oven and serve immediately while hot and delicious.
Notes
- Use King’s Hawaiian rolls for the best sweet and soft slider base.
- Feel free to substitute provolone with other cheeses such as mozzarella, Swiss, or cheddar according to preference.
- The Dijon mustard and butter mixture can be prepared ahead of time to save prep time.
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red chili flakes to the butter sauce.
- Sliders can be assembled and kept covered in the refrigerator for a few hours before baking.
- Cutting between the rolls prior to baking helps to easily separate sliders after baking.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces or sides like coleslaw, chips, or pickles.
