Ingredients for Maple Glaze:
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1/2 tbsp dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp minced garlic, heaping
Additional Ingredients:
- 1.5 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (4–5 small chicken breasts)
- Olive oil
- Fresh parsley
- Salt
- Black pepper
Instructions
- Season the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- Prepare Maple Glaze: In a medium bowl, combine chicken broth, maple syrup, lemon juice, dijon mustard, and minced garlic. Set aside.
- Sear Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken breasts on both sides for 3-4 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet.
- Make Maple Sauce: In the cooled skillet, add the maple sauce mixture. Simmer and scrape up browned bits.
- Cook Chicken: Return seared chicken to skillet. Simmer for 5-8 minutes until cooked through, basting with sauce.
- Glaze Chicken: Remove chicken, reduce maple sauce to a glaze. Drizzle over chicken.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges. Enjoy!
