- 4 cloves garlic, minced
For the Sauce:
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
For the Pasta:
- 8 ounces penne pasta
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter: In a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken: Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sear until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté garlic: In the same pot, cook minced garlic in butter until fragrant.
- Add liquids: Pour in chicken broth, simmer, then add heavy cream and bring to a bubble.
- Cook pasta: Add penne into the sauce, cover, and simmer for 12–15 minutes.
