Description

This One-Skillet Garlic Butter Steak & Cheese Ravioli is a delicious and easy-to-make meal featuring tender steak slices, cheese-filled ravioli, and a rich garlic butter sauce all cooked together in a single skillet for quick cleanup and maximum flavor.

Ingredients

Scale

Steak

  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, sliced into thin strips
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped (optional)
  • Optional red pepper flakes, for a little heat
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Ravioli

  • 12 oz cheese ravioli (fresh or refrigerated)
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Season and Sear Steak: Season the steak strips with salt and black pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Sauté Garlic and Shallots: Reduce the heat to medium and add 2 tablespoons of butter to the same skillet. Add the minced garlic and chopped shallot (if using). Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant and golden.
  3. Cook Ravioli: Pour in 1 cup of water and bring it to a gentle simmer. Add the cheese ravioli directly to the skillet. Cover and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the ravioli are tender.
  4. Combine Steak and Butter: Return the cooked steak strips to the skillet. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter and gently toss everything together until the steak and ravioli are well coated in the garlic butter sauce.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley and optional red pepper flakes over the dish. Serve hot immediately and enjoy your flavorful steak and cheese ravioli meal.

Notes

  • If using frozen ravioli, make sure to thaw them before cooking for even results.
  • Adjust the red pepper flakes amount to control the heat level to your preference.
  • Use fresh ingredients for garlic, herbs, and ravioli to maximize flavor.
  • Substitute butter with olive oil for a dairy-free version, although it will change the flavor profile.
  • Serve with a simple side salad or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
