Cream Cheese

  • 8 ounces cream cheese (optional)

Egg Wash

  • 1 large egg (whisked)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 400ºF. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Ingredients: Cut guava and cream cheese into slices. Unfold one pastry sheet on the cookie sheet.
  3. Layer Fillings: Place guava slices on pastry sheet, add cream cheese if desired. Top with the second pastry sheet.
  4. Cut and Score: Cut into 9 squares, score the tops. Brush with egg wash.
  5. Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve: Serve hot and enjoy!
