Peeps Easter S’mores Recipe

  • Author: Sophie
  • Total Time: 7 minutes
  • Yield: 9 s'mores 1x

Description

A fun and festive twist on traditional s’mores, Peeps Easter S’mores combine the classic graham cracker and chocolate base with colorful, fluffy Peeps marshmallows, broiled to perfection for a lightly toasted and melty treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 18 graham cracker halves
  • 1 Hershey’s candy bar
  • 9 Peeps marshmallows (pink, blue, yellow)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the baking sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easy. Lay out 9 halves of graham crackers evenly spaced on the sheet.
  2. Add chocolate and marshmallows: Break the Hershey’s candy bar into small pieces and place one piece on each graham cracker half. Top each piece of chocolate with a single Peep marshmallow.
  3. Broil the s’mores: Place the baking sheet in the oven on the broil setting on high. Watch carefully for about 2 minutes, or until the Peeps begin to lightly brown and puff up.
  4. Assemble the s’mores: Remove the tray from the oven. Immediately top each melted marshmallow and chocolate with the remaining 9 graham cracker halves. Gently press down to sandwich all layers together.

Notes

  • Keep a close eye when broiling, as Peeps can brown and melt quickly.
  • You can substitute different flavors or colors of Peeps for a festive touch.
  • Use parchment paper to avoid the marshmallow sticking to the baking sheet.
  • Allow s’mores to cool slightly before eating as the filling will be hot right out of the oven.
