Instructions
- Sauce Preparation: Combine garlic, rice vinegar, agave or brown sugar, fish sauce, lime juice, and vegetable oil in a blender or food processor. Pulse until the ingredients are well blended into a smooth sweet garlic lime sauce.
- Noodle Preparation: Soak rice noodles in cold water for about 30 minutes until softened. Then transfer the soaked noodles into a pot of boiling water for 1-2 minutes to finish cooking. Quickly drain to prevent stickiness.
- Vegetable Preparation: Mince the basil, mint, and cilantro. Slice the serrano pepper thinly. Peel and julienne the carrots and cucumber, and slice the red bell pepper into thin strips for crisp texture.
- Protein Preparation: If using protein, cook your choice of shrimp, tofu, or chicken thoroughly by pan cooking or grilling as preferred. Ensure it is fully cooked before adding to the bowl.
