Spice Mix:
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 star anise
- 12 green cardamom pods
- 6 cloves
- 8 black peppercorns
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg (freshly grated or powder)
- 1 1-inch piece fresh ginger (sliced)
Tea Base:
- 2–3 tsp loose black tea or 4–6 black tea bags
- 2 cups water
- 2 tbsp honey
Milk Froth:
- 1 1/2 cup whole milk

Instructions
- Roughly crush the whole spices: Cinnamon stick, star anise, cardamom pods, cloves, peppercorns, and nutmeg. Do not powder them.
- Prepare the tea base: Combine the crushed spices, ginger, loose black tea (or tea bags), and water. Bring to a boil, then steep for 10 minutes. Add honey, strain, and store the concentrate.
- Heat the milk: Heat the milk in a pot without boiling it.
- Froth the milk: Froth 1/2 cup of milk using a frother or blender until foamy.
- Assemble the latte: In a cup, mix black tea concentrate with steamed milk. Top with frothed milk foam and sprinkle cinnamon powder.
