For the tea:
- ½ cup hot water
- 2 hibiscus tea bags
- ½ cup cold water
For serving:
- 1 cup ice
- ¼ cup strawberry syrup
Instructions
- Prepare the tea: Put hibiscus tea bags in a teapot with ½ cup of hot water. Boil water or use an electric kettle set to 195°F. Let it steep for 5 minutes.
- Steep the tea: Cover the teapot and steep for 5 minutes. For a stronger flavor, steep longer.
- Add cold water: After steeping, add ½ cup of cold water to the tea. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Serve: Fill a cup with ice, pour the chilled tea over the ice, and add the strawberry syrup. Stir well to combine.
